| SEALNet Youth Leadership Summit Thailand 2017 (YLS17) |
Applications are invite for the Youth Leadership Summit in Bangkok, Thailand
on 30th July – 5th August 2017.
“SEALNet YLS Program is an effective incubator in which aspiring Southeast Asian youths will be equipped with necessary skills, mindset and support system to turn their ideas and passion for service into impactful actions.”

1. Participate in a series of service leadership training;2. Expand your knowledge of Southeast Asia through not only your peers but also professionals and experts in the region;

Eligibilities
1. Are, at the time of the application, first to third year university students – or one year prior to graduation.
2. Recently graduated from high school and will be university freshmen for the 2017 – 2018 academic year.
3. Are of Southeast Asian nationalities and/or ethnicities or others who are passionate about making an impact in Southeast Asia.
4. Demonstrate strong leadership potentials and passion for Southeast Asia development.
5. Have service project ideas to initiate and can commit to leading a project in 2018.
6. Are active, open-minded, and eager to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds for possible collaborations after the summit.
7. Are past members of SEALNet (being project mentee, member, even supporter and volunteer).
Eligible Regions:

3. A (3-5 minutes) video of yourself answering the following three questions: “Who are you? Why do you want to join YLS? What do you expect to get out of YLS?” is needed to complete the application, so make it before hand!!
4. Start drafting your answers offline before submitting!
5. You also need to submit a brief proposal (1-2 pages) of the project that you hope to carry out after YLS17. If you have a co-leader in mind, please submit the same proposal as your co-leader (Co-Leadership is Awesome!).
6. YLS know there are a lot of things to do for our YLS17 Application, but YLS believe the first step of commitment for a Project Leader starts NOW!
